AL LACHMAN: Yesteryear to the Present
Renowned for his pastels as well as his oil paintings, Al Lachman is a master colorist. Lachman is an accomplished painter, instructor, juror and author celebrating 63 years as a professional artist. He is recognized for his expressive painterly style and luminous paintings of barns and landscapes of Bucks County and beyond. Honored by “Who’s Who in American Art” and by the Pastel Society of America, Lachman’s paintings have garnered numerous awards and the attention of art collectors nationally for fine art investment.

Workshops
Mr. Lachman has conducted painting workshops internationally. He was the first American artist to be invited by The Pastel Society of Canada to conduct a private workshop for its members. In addition, he has served as a Director on the Board of Control of the Pastel Society of America. He is also one of the founders and first instructors of the P.S.A. School for Pastels Only at the National Arts Club in NYC, the only one of its kind in the U.S.
